Access Rescue Consulting at Height Ltd T/A ARCH is a work at height and safety consultancy business supplying specialist height and safety training, rope access, rescue, safety consultancy, inspection and maintenance services to the telecommunications, wind energy, industrial and public sectors.  We operate our contracting and training services from Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh and Shannon Airport, Ireland.

ARCH is an approved training provider of Global Wind Organisation Basic Safety Training and RenewableUK wind safety training.

ARCH has been independently audited by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA International), and is a Full IRATA Operator Member Company and Full Trainer Member Company. As an approved Full IRATA member company, ARCH’s industrial rope access services are fully compliant with IRATA International’s requirements in terms of quality assurance, safety, training and adherence to the IRATA International Code of Practice. ARCH’s IRATA Company Number is 8092/OT.

We hold expertise in work at height training, rope access and safety consultancy. The quality of our human, technical and facilities resources is key to our success.  ARCH deliver height and safety training at our premises at Shannon Airport, Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh, Belfast Harbour and we also deliver at clients sites across Ireland and UK.  Our industrial rope access services are delivered at clients’ sites in locations across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland including Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Limerick.  ARCH also operates across the UK and international locations.

As an approved IRATA Member Company, our experienced IRATA qualified rope access technicians work to the internationally recognised IRATA International Code of Practice and European standards, and are committed to the provision of safe, quality and efficient rope access services in difficult locations.

Specialists in rope access, work at height and confined space rescue training, ARCH delivers training to a wide range of sectors including utility, telecommunications, wind energy, engineering and film/TV/theatre companies.

Our training accreditations include:

  • Approval from IRATA International as an approved Full Trainer Member Company for the delivery of industrial rope access training
  • Approved RenewableUK training provider for Working at Height and Rescue – Wind Turbines, Manual Handling, First Aid and Fire Awareness
  • Approved to deliver Global Wind Organisation Basic Safety Training Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness and First Aid Modules

ARCH has developed rescue plans and devised training courses for rescue of personnel from wind turbines, power station roofs, quarry hoppers and industrial process vessels.  Our expertise includes work at height in onshore and offshore locations.

ARCH is committed to contributing to and learning from health and safety best practice. We do this through our membership participation in relevant professional and trade bodies including IOSH, IRATA International, IWEA, and RenewableUK.

Eoghan Lynch, Founder

Eoghan Lynch is the founder of ARCH. Eoghan has 20 years experience in work at height training, rope access and safety consultancy. He holds a First Class Honours Degree in Occupational Safety and Health and an Industrial Rope Access (IRATA) Level 3I qualification.

Eoghan was appointed as Chair of the Irish Cave Rescue Organisation for a five year period, and held a position on the Northern Ireland Remote Rescue Review Steering Group, a committee established by the Northern Ireland Executive to advise on the future of remote rescue in Northern Ireland.  Eoghan is a Cave Rescue Warden with responsibility for managing cave rescue teams and operations in cave systems in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
