GWO Training

ARCH is approved to deliver GWO Basic Safety Training (BST).  GWO Basic Safety training provides delegates with a range of important skills and tools including Fire Awareness, First Aid, Working at Heights and Manual Handling.

All training is designed for technicians working on wind turbines onshore and offshore.  The GWO training addresses procedures and equipment commonly used in wind turbines. To complement our standard access, rescue and safety training courses, ARCH also provide advanced access and rescue training to address risks associated with hub, blade and T-piece access on wind turbines.

Arch Deliver the following GWO Modules:

  • GWO Working at Height (BST)

  • GWO Manual Handling (BST)

  • GWO Fire Awareness (BST)

  • GWO First Aid (BST)

  • GWO Enhanced First Aid

  • GWO Advanced Access & Rescue

  • GWO Sea Survival (coming Q2. 2025)

Our Wind Energy trainings also include:

  • Safety On WTSR Core

These modules can be undertaken individually or as in the case of GWO BST combined over 5 consecutive days in either of our training facilities as Enniskillen or Shannon Airport.

This course is fully Global Wind Organisation (GWO) approved
