ARCH attended the annual symposium and AGMs of the Speleological Union of Ireland (SUI) and the Irish Cave Rescue Organisation held in Doolin, Co. Clare on 25-28 October. We were pleased to donate a caving suit as a prize to the SUICRO monster raffle. The Irish Cave Rescue Organisation undertakes cave rescue in Northern Ireland and Rep. of Ireland and Northern Ireland on behalf of PSNI and the Gardaí, while SUI is responsible for cave conservation, access, and leadership training in Ireland, north and south. Both organisations are voluntary and are part funded by Government in addition to the valued support and goodwill of its membership.
